Does the Fluxabee hive scale work in winter and below freezing?
Yes - the Fluxabee hive scale is built to operate year-round, including in winter. The sensors keep working at sub-zero temperatures and the integrated solar panel keeps the battery topped up even on overcast days. You receive uninterrupted weight and temperature readings from the hive, which is critical for safe wintering.
Is the Fluxabee app for beekeepers free?
Yes, the Fluxabee app is free - just download it from the App Store or Google Play and sign in to your apiary. Some advanced features (extra measurement-history packages or the AI assistant) are available through optional subscriptions, but the core hive monitoring works without any paid plan.
Does the scale work without WiFi?
Yes. The Fluxabee scale uses the cellular network, so you don't need WiFi at the apiary. That matters because most apiaries sit far from any home router - all the scale needs is mobile coverage.
Is the Fluxabee app available in my language?
Yes - the Fluxabee app is fully translated into English, German, Polish and many other languages. You can switch the interface language at any time in the app settings.
